The Israeli 2009 Welcome to Linux Series

The Israeli open source community is proud to announce the beginning of the series of presentations for Linux beginners. The lectures will cover basic topics in Linux in order to provide Linux home-use beginners with the necessary background. This year the series will take place in four centers: the Haifa Linux Club at the Technion, the Tel Aviv Linux Club at Tel-Aviv University, and the Jerusalem Linux Club in Jerusalem, and the Bar-Ilan Linux Club in Bar-Ilan University.

This is the seventh time such a series is being held, and the second time it is held in other cities besides Haifa.

The series is directed at people who have some experience in using a computer and wish to know Linux in order to install the system in their personal computer and use it for everyday use.
